Our Staff


Arlene Napier, Befriender Supervisor
Arlene is responsible for supporting our clients and volunteer befrienders. She is the first point of contact for our client referrals and a liaison point with our counsellor and complementary therapist.

Julie Johnson, Office Administrator
Julie is responsible for the smooth running of the day-to-day of activities of Tayside Cancer Support. She also supports the Executive Committee in their governance duties.

Linda Swan
Chair
Linda joined the Executive Committee at the beginning of 2016. She is a retired Head Teacher from Perth & Kinross Council and had worked in Education for 37 years. She has overall responsibility for training and partnerships. She is currently a member of a number of groups in Dundee who aim to support those living with cancer.

Amanda Stulka
Vice Chair
Previously the Befriender Supervisor/Office Manager, Amanda has now joined the Executive Committee to contribute her skills in finance and management to the charity.

Ros Marr
Executive Member
Ros is an experienced Befriender who has moved over to the board to assist in the governance of the charity.

Craig McGeoughie
Executive Member
Craig joined our Executive Committee at the beginning of 2011. He is a retired senior manager in D C Thomson & Co Ltd and past Chair of Dundee Round Table and a member of both The Dyer Craft and The Guildry of Dundee. He has been involved in fundraising for many years

Ben Mudge
Executive Member
Ben joined the Executive Committee at the beginning of 2017. Ben works for Macmillan Cancer support and is the Engagement Coordinator for the North of Scotland. He is responsible for gathering TCS client feedback to ensure quality support is offered.

Ricky Shek
Executive Member
Ricky was initially brought on to help redevelop the TCS website and later joined our Executive Committee at the beginning of 2019. Ricky works in the Careers Service at Abertay University. He is responsible for providing support on the website and other digital initiatives.
