TCS Befriender Carole is 80 years young!

One of our longest serving and most dedicated Befrienders, Carole, is celebrating her 80th birthday and the Courier has written a lovely article celebrating her dedication to helping others and her youthful zest for life.

Carole is a Befriender with Tayside Cancer Support, and also undertakes visits to Ninewells Hospital to chat with patients on the Ward 32 undergoing cancer treatment. We are sure that she will not thank us for revealing her age, but it shows that volunteering has no age limit, especially if you feel the work is rewarding and beneficial, and TCS are delighted she is part of our volunteering team.
